Small Town USA
Thursday, September 9, 2010
Monday morning we joined friends along the curb to watch the cutest small-town-USA Labor Day parade. My kids made it home with 386 pieces of candy…..we counted! They are sporting a few new bumps and bruises from collisions with other kids scrambling for the goods that were being thrown from the floats….but none the worse for wear.
It was absolute madness…..and so much fun!
Izzy holding her ears while still clutching her lollipops as the fire engine and siren drove past.
Evie and her best lil’ buddy Cullen
Too cute to not snap a picture!
My patriotic girlies
Let Freedom Ring!
I think my city-slicker alter ego is starting to feel very comfortable here in Mayberry!
Wasn’t it fun??? Wyatt’s gradually earning his candy! This morning was a great start! I am never above bribery! 🙂
Love the picture of you, Abi & Britain! You’re beautiful inside & out, my dear friend!
Your kids have the prettiest eyes and great hair!! Their bows just set it all off….just darling!
add 3 pieces to the tally. I had 2 dumdums and a icy pop!
