Baby “J” Newborn Photography

Anyone who has done newborn photography for any amount of time knows the “fun” thats to be expected at a shoot.
spit up.  fussiness.  sleep strikes.  poop.  pee.  nursing breaks.  more pee.

Every photographer knows the tedious methods of getting baby positioned “just so” only to have them wake and start the cry cycle all over again.

We all have a bundle of wet (or worse) blankets and wraps to launder after a photoshoot.

Handwipes are our best friend during a session.

Its all par for the course and to be expected.  They are babies after all and thats what all babies do.
….or so I thought……

 This little one however has forever spoiled me from hereafter.  Not a peep.  Not a stir.  Not a spill or soil.  He just lay there dreamily and let us tuck him into cute cozy poses and click away.  Aaaahh that all newborn photo shoots could be so easy!!

Could these girls be any more gorgeous!?  And sweet, tender hearts as well.  Absolutely beautiful inside and out!!  Loved watching all the fun interaction and giggles throughout our session….made me miss my sisters!

Sometimes you gotta add an element of surprise to get that genuine laughter and playfulness that keep photos from being too “posed”……

That morning light is SO worth getting up for.  We captured so many lovely images of this stunning family from their rooftop garden at sunrise.  Celebrating their daughter turning 6 months with a special focus on her!  One adored little girl by her parents and doting big brother!!
