This post has been a long time coming! Before Christmas, we worked with a fabulous photographer because we needed updated family photos for an upcoming project
(super excited about it….more on that later!)
Capturing this crew on camera is not for the faint of heart:) Patty Hallman was the woman for the job! Being the aspiring photographer that I am, I know its no small task to get not one….not two….but eight individuals all looking the same direction. With pleasant expressions too! I could not have been more pleased with her work!
You know the expression about the cobblers child having no shoes? Well, the same was true of a family photo of our gang….it never happens! So glad Patty was able to do what I cannot!!
We gathered at an inlet on “our lake” at sunset and she beautifully captured the natural lighting at the dusk of day that we love so much! That golden glow at 5:00pm is just the most gorgeous time of day and her clicking camera immortalized these beautiful moments. Im thrilled to have some snaps with this new little peanut among the gang!
Patty was low-key and had the kiddos “posing” in a candid, natural way. Her soft spoken tone kept everyone at ease and they all felt comfortable as she took the individual portraits.
Patty Hallman specializes in wedding photography but is gifted in countless capacities. You ladies may want to check out a fun Valentine special she has going on right now! She is one of only 16 Certified Professional Photographers in SC and is on the board for Professional Photographers of SC. Gotta say, Im super impressed with this lady!!
We have another project coming up with Patty this weekend that I am SO excited about. Ya’ll are not going to believe this. There will be lots of laughter with this throw-back session.
Cant wait to share some of those sneak peeks with you next week.
Beautiful family and beautiful pictures. I don’t think you look a day older than in our TeenPact days. 🙂 I want to know how you’ve managed that!
Gigi is getting so big. They grow up so, so quickly.
Love love love! We need new family pictures as well. Arina has been home a year and we still haven’t updated! Shame on us. Excited to get on it now!
Beautiful family portraits. I love the “natural” appearance of them. They do not looked posed at all. I wanted to let you know that I shared your story on my blog yesterday. Thank you again for sharing it for CHD Awareness week!
