On another note…Tristan is quite pleased with himself for vast majority of votes cast in his favor for being the most likely to have earned a new battle scar. The one and only winning vote however goes to Shannon who guessed Evie. Yes, chalk another emergency trip to the Dr. up for the little drama queen! Its not pretty, but her little tongue is healing and considering the fact that she gobbled down a bowl of chili yesterday, I think her pain threshold is pretty high!

Fact:
The mouth is the fastest part of the body to heal.
Fact:
It is unnecessary to stitch the tongue back together even when your child has bit nearly completely through the tissue. It will heal on its own as its nearly impossible to stitch.
Fact:
The aforementioned does not mean that the tongue will heal fast enough to spare you trip to the pediatrician, a looooong night, lots of tears and NO sleep…(for mother AND child)
