We’re getting to know what goes on in this little Angel’s mind more and more every day as she has finally begun talking. So cute to hear the precious things that come from her heart through that sweet lil’ voice!
Evie climbed up on my lap as I was having my bible study yesterday morning.
Inquisitively, she looked up at me and asked, “Why you weeding Mommy“?
“Im reading ’cause I want to know Jesus” I responded simply.
Her eyes got wide and she pulled up her nightgown to view her scar.
“Jeeeeesus?………………………..Jesus fix-a-my-heart?”
My own heart stopped!
“Yes baby! Jesus fixed your heart!”

Beautiful picture of your sweet girl! The first time they ask that question almost catches you off guard. Be ready, there are more to come. Mags has asked some doozies. I can’t wait to see our girls together so soon!

When I grow up, I want to be as wise as Evie. Her scar is beautiful…a perfectly placed reminder of the love Jesus has for all of us!

Beautiful girl inside and out! She looks so mature for a two year old here! I actually thought that she was four or five the first time I saw her.
