Before…
And After….
Saturday night I put Izzy’s little locks in sponge rollers. What is it inherantly about a girl that compels her to willingly forgo a comfortable nights sleep and tolerate sleeping on tiny corn cobs for the sake of Shirly Temple ringlets? Clearly, she was very pleased with the results come Sunday morning!
As I was slathering on the mousse and combing out tangles and wrapping her hair into the pink curlers Saturday evening, Evie was having a hissy fit that I wasnt rolling her hair. Try explaining to a two year old that she has naturally curly hair and doesn’t need rollers. It wasn’t going over well and she was feeling patronized by the one extra pink sponge I had clipped in her curl at the nape of her neck.
Izzy who had had enough of Evie’s tantrum, turned abruptly on her sister and exclaimed,
“Evie, you not be da only princess!”
Out of the mouths of babes. High time somebody set Evie straight on that one!
Oh those rollers bring back memories! I was a pageant girl and wore those to bed MANY nights! I actually miss those days! She looks sooooo sweet in both pics!

Ha ha. That makes me laugh. High Time someone told Evie…Had A wonderful time with you this weekend sis. Loved getting to walk my baby to sleep again. It made me sad though because she is getting way to big.
