Chop Sticks

Wednesday night we celebrated Chad’s sister’s birthday at one of those Japanese Steak Houses where they prepare the food in front of you.
We all had a grand time…well, most of us did! Clearly my daughter doesn’t share her aunt Rebecca’s love for foreign places and exotic food. Izzy went barreling out of the restaurant flailing and screaming when the cook started throwing knives, flamed up the grill and sent her into a full blown panic attack. Poor thing took her sweet time settling down and being talked into returning.
As soon as the cook left us to our meal, she took up her chop sticks and joined the fun.
Aunt Becca will be leaving for New York to teach in the fall and we’re going to miss her terribly.

I really need to take the boys to one of those places, they would love it. But my autistic Tanner may run screaming too!
