Through My Lens
Party of 5!
I had a couple of businessmen in the studio this week for professional corporate headshots. While I have to say that it was way easier than chasing toddlers or mopping up baby poo as is the norm with my other sessions……it confirmed that I really love my niche with babies and families!! How lucky am I to get to snuggle little newborns like this and capture their cute little rolls and eyelashes and piggies on camera!?
So blessed to be welcomed into such a loving family!! Enjoy a little preview of their gallery!
Newborn Session with Baby “C”
I have a confession….redheads are my favorite!
I always told C that I wanted a redhead-daughter. Clearly, its not been in the gene pool for us, but I have a soft spot for these gorgeous gingers!
Sweet baby Charlotte was in the studio recently with her gorgeous older sisters who were total posers – made my job a JOY! Absolutely infatuated with all the stunning images we got of their precious interactions with their adored little sister. Welcome to the world sweet baby Charlotte!
Every once in a blue moon, I go through the proofs and squeal when I come across a gem like this. We snapped sleeping beauty with a dreamy little grin on her face….awwwwwww!!
And then there are those other ones that just make me giggle….sometimes the outtakes end up being my favorites!!
Katie, your images will be ready later today…..thanks for letting me photograph these lovely little ladies!!
Modeling Dayspring Dresses fall 2014
We LOVE getting assignments from Dayspring Dresses and this set was particularly fun because I got to help brainstorm the fall line. I begged Kelly to do denim. And couldn’t love more what she came up with. That woman never ceases to amaze me! This has got to be the most fun part of my job…..enlisting the favorite subjects of my camera and dolling them up and clicking away. We pulled in the talented Crafty European to design some hair-candy and Jax & Jewels joined the collaboration with some chunky beaded necklace bling.
And before you ask…..no. The girls don’t really wear these cute glasses. We just thought they made them look extra smart for a back-to-school shoot. 🙂
