Where the Wild Things Are

The zoo is our favorite fieldtrip. Its one place I dont worry about my children making the most noise or the stinkiest smells or the biggest messes. We feel at home! A stress-free outing! Yesterday was quite the excursion!
~The loins were clearly mating and in the midst of a crowd of snickering bystanders, Abi wanted to know why they were climbing on top of eachother.
~It was dinner time in the reptile house and we got to watch a National Geographic worthy exhibition of a python consuming a live rat. At which point Tristan looks at me and says, “Mom, I feel like my heart is kinda beating really fast!”
Me too bud! Natural childbirth I can do, but this……eewwwww!
I think we’re going to call it a school day and clock those teachable moments! Homeschool at its best.
What a lovely and light blog you have! Your children are just precious!
That is adorable your son said his heart was beating really fast after he saw the snake eat the rat.. lol Soo cute. Glad you had a good time!
How fun! I love the zoo too….and such educational opportunities! Can’t wait to see you, I’m counting down the days!
We love the zoo too. We talked about getting season passes next year. We’ll have to do that.
Now that looks like my kind of learning! Precious pictures. Beautiful family!
