Secret Garden with my 7-Year-Old
Mommy’s late with birthday photos this year. I thought maybe we’d struck out Saturday morning when we got all dolled up and then realized storm clouds have gathered and it was drizzling rain, but we caught that after-shower sun breaking through and little-miss had fun dancing barefoot through the puddles. Our damp secret garden looked magical!
Evie’s birthday-ballgown was designed by one of our favorite ultra-girly boutiques, Posh Little Tutus and we got to do a fun photoshoot to debut a brand new design. Check it out mommas….birthday boutique wear and special occasion dresses as well as holiday and seasonal attire. Evie’s daddy brought this to Thailand in a suitcase from his last trip. I told him I was ordering something for him to bring back to us, but he was less than thrilled when he saw the VOLUME of tulle that he had to pack in his bag to travel back here. 🙂 Now that’s a dad who loves his little girl!!

Happy 1st Birthday Baby “S”
This little princess turned 1 this weekend!! What a little china doll, huh? I do believe that 1st birthday cake-smash sessions may be becoming my favorite type of photoshoot. What a delightful age to see their little personalities emerging and be able to interact with them. Little miss “S” was so dainty and timid about making a mess with her cake. What a little lady!
There was some serious “pink” going on with this session which y’all know is right up my alley!

Happy 1st Birthday “A”
Gorgeous baby girl celebrated her birthday recently. What a DOLL she was for the camera too! We got some special formal shots in her christening gown……and some (clearly) more casual ones of her playing in her cake. I LOVE it when a 1-year-old totally goes to town with their cake-smash. She rocked it! And obviously, big brother has some rockin’ skill too!!
